“Talking to your replacement.”
Dead under a street light.
Flying into a wall.
Must be a temporary job service!
Either flattened on a sports cars windshield or a bikers helmet
I see myself flying headlong into a bug zapper….
Bumping my head against the glass window.
Desperately seeking a partner to reproduce with. Is that ok on company time?
Floating upside down in a swimming pool
Happily married and at the end of a wonderful career.
The mayfly strips never get old… and neither do the mayflies.
In a pile of dung?
Reminds me of annual job performance reviews the last 5 years of my so-called “career”.
Employee turnover is ungodly.
In your chair.
I always wondered why species like mayflies and several other insects that seem to live only so they can reproduce and die even exist. Such a short lifespan. How do they even survive as a species?
Becoming one with a truck windshield in La Crosse, Wisconsin near the river.
Am I having deja vu, or did we just see this one a couple weeks ago?
Being digested.
He always knew he’d make it one day.
In a mirror, same as now.
A Fish Dinner… sorry – A Fish’s Dinner.
“I figure if I work here for 4 hours, I can go on vacation.”
They are here for food for others.
“The Mayfly: so called because they may not.” So this is Science. H.F. Ellis 1932
…with you…pushin’ up daisies!
Annoying baseball players in Cleveland.
I don’t think they produce one offspring at a time. Perhaps a better question would be how the human species has managed to survive.
