I used to think so. Now it’s a ten year old Toyota that has minimal licensing fees and doesn’t need repairs because, well, because it’s a Toyota. That’s old age wisdom!
I guess I’m too old for a Porsche. We’ve got a very reliable 5 year old Honda Pilot, all wheel drive. And it comes from Alabama. Our last Pilot lasted 13 years (and 270,000 miles before we gave it to our son), and it was born in Canada.

Years ago I had the Porsche and the open road…..then the X got the Porsche and all I had was the open road. I’m now the wiser middle-aged Ram!
