The Buckets by Greg Cravens for November 06, 2011
Transcript:
Why is everything so expensive these days? Because my generation is dying off. Say what? Stuff was cheap in my day! Y'know why? Because we wouldn't stand for it otherwise! Ten cents for a candy bar? Phooey! Nobody paid it! They made 'em five cents, and we let 'em stay in business! Companies are just waiting for my generation to die off, cause after we're gone they can charge what they like and you'll pay it without a peep. So, if we want to live in a fair and sane world... You'll spare no expense to keep old people alive and shopping!
Grammar nazi: Should the last panel be “live in a fair and safe world” or “live in a fair and save the world”?
