I go to work at 3:30 AM and there is still a decent amount of traffic. The traffic report is essential even then to pick which of the 3 routes is best and ensure one hasn’t been closed again by accident, construction or whatever. DC is so much fun.

DC traffic sucks the life out of you. The closest traffic light for me is twenty miles away, unless I cross over to Canada…then it’s 13 miles. I don’t miss the Raleigh, NC traffic either…retired to northern Maine five years ago.

Is it just me, or does that look like a miniature Calvin on the top of his desk in the last panel?

Not a miniature Calvin…Calvin always wore a red shirt. I was thinking more of one of those little “Troll” figures that used to be so popular years back, with the big poof of hair sticking up.

I work from home, so luckily the only “traffic” I run into are my cats.

My parents don’t have a car so I had to get the bus to school. Now I get the train to my Work Placement.

Worst times to have to commute, thus best times to NOT have to commute, is when all the college students come back to the city. U-Hauls and Rent-a-Vans double parked everywhere, tons of drivers who don’t know where they are, where they’re going, or where they want to be, and thousands of kids who have apparently never learned how to cross the street.
