When you’re camping then all the every day stuff like cars, TV, ice cream truck, hover parents… doesn’t get in the way of actually seeing what is there in your backyard. Even annoying siblings tend to be less annoying then.
I showed this to my sister, a boy scout leader, and she brought up some good points: Some kids don’t have backyards, or safe yards, or they won’t go outside because of electronics.

because they are FORCED to see outside of the house it seems at this point.
