I saw a small sign in a school cafeteria by the teacher’s lounge. It was on the soda can recycling bin. The sign said “we can ALL read. Only EMPTIES go in here”
here in the boonies people treat the world as their trash bucket. there are signs all over that say please don’t litter and those locations are exactly where the morons litter the most…
they can read, they just don’t care. amazing they can carry the object while it is full which takes more muscle power, but when it is empty it must become heavier and so they choose to discard it for someone else to throw it away in the nearest garbage container.
Eddie, my friend, count your blessings. The litter problem is even worse in the ’hood and barrio. You do not want to see WHAT they throw away on the streets let alone how much. Bad enough seeing the high trash level from your car. I would say try seeing all this on foot, but you might have nightmares from the sight.

Some people are litterally trash.

Years ago there used to be advertising inside city busses above the windows so the people sitting on the other side could read them.
I was on a bus in San Francisco in 1965 and there was a ad that said “Can’t read? Contact the adult education department.”
Even now I find that seriously strange.

But they’re littering the place with those signs that people ignore.
