Growing up near The Windy City, we’d make wind-powered carts. They worked well – in one direction, assuming you didn’t mind not knowing where you were headed because the sail blocked your view.
Us Dads just didn’t fall off the turnip trucks. We did and said the same things to get our first bicycles, BB guns, pocket knives., firecrackers and anything else that was considered dangerous for us at the time…….
