Don’t take my phone to the bedroom anyway. And I still can find my way around the house when the lights are off. I know were the furniture is and there are no other obstacles (apart from the cat, but she usually stays on the bed when I get up at night.) It does help that we have streetlamps around the house, so it doesn’t get pitch black in the house.
I don’t need a night lite with all those red and blue lights on all those toys. What I don’t understand is that some of them turn red to show that the device is off.
I’m old. I have a couple of small LED night lights in halls, and bathroom and laundry are motion activated. The bug zapper in the kitchen in bright enough

A public-health recommendation for the safety of us old folk is a night-light in every room. Really!

If your phone is in your bedroom you deserve to suffer.

I know my house and where things are well enough to move around in the dark
If I’m going to trip over something, it’s probably one of the cats

If your screen is facing up, saying “Okay Google,” or “Hey Siri” should help you find it in the dark.

I got some of those plug-in pest repellers, as pest repellers go they make pretty good night lights.

It doesn’t hurt to hold a hand out to navigate in the dark even when you know where everything is. No one needs a blood-clot from excessive bruising.

Between the street lights in the front and the ones from I-264 in the back, my house is not that dark unless there’s a power failure.
