When my mom & brother were cremated (no, not at the same time…..) I was told that the guys with the oven kindly “recycled” their titanium parts. Yeah, right – that stuff is valuable; they sold it. When She and/or I go, the instructions will be to return Her shoulders/my back hardware. The survivor will need the coin.
(When they took the plate out of my son after his fractured clavicle had healed, he got it back & used for a keyfob for a few years until he lost it; used it to play slide guitar, too.)
