    I’m not afraid of heights, but it does worry me somewhat. The reason for that is down to when I’m up high, I have a real urge to want to jump. Actually have to make a mental effort not to do so. Hopefully that’s not a sign of how my life is going.

    Reminds me of living in SoCal. Orange Country to LA is an easy drive, LA to Orange County was way too far to travel.

    As a child I too noticed this and it bothered me. I figured out the issue was perspective. Standing on the ground my eyes were my body length closer to the monkey bar than my feet, and when I was on the monkey bar my eyes were my body length further from the ground than my feet, making the distance appear almost double. I would tell myself this as I let go of the monkey bar.
