Never understood why they’re called that. :P :P :P

Don’t get me started on cushions (or pillows as you seem to call them across the pond – so what do you call pillows for the bed?) They are not comfortable at all and just get in the way. I always have to try and find a place to get rid of them so that I can sit down properly. The same is true for pillows. You turn up at a hotel to find loads of them piled up on the bed. Sure they look nice, but you then have to chuck them most of them on the floor so you can actually get into bed.BTW in the UK we call the scatter cushions rather than throw pillows.

Mom should give Eddie a pass, not so for Toby.

But she didn’t say they were throw pillows at the lamps and stuff.

She seems to be in the throes of their throwing the throws.

Just don’t throw them away…

What happened to Toby’s hair? Seems like Eddie is better than him in everything that has throwing in it: tantrums, arguments, and even pillows?

Mr. Cravens, this is no reflection on you or on today’s toon. It’s more on advertisers who seem heck-bent on propagating the idea that parents can’t do anything about children behaving like feral weasels. I assume this comes from the year-ago publicity of “experts” who traumatized parents with the idea of squelching children’s creativity, free spirit, incipient criminality, etc., i.e., having boundaries, teaching manners and respect for others and their property, and on and on. Nauseating has now met dangerous as a large swath of parents seem content to throw up their hands and say, “Well, I’m not qualified to raise my children, let the experts do it.” And now we have things like malls requiring an adult to accompany anyone under 21 to enter various malls because of the havoc these teens have wreaked when left on their own.
