Don’t wish to wear glasses. I hate wearing mine. When I started to work on computers, I needed cheater glasses, then my eyes got so bad I now have to wear them all the time. I hate them, plus they’re way to expensive!
So, you’d rather be vision-impaired, than wear glasses??? I’ve worn glasses since I was 10 yrs old. And, with bifocals since age 14. The Hubs got them when he was 40 & has work & regular glasses. Even a mere 100 years ago, glasses were not common enough, or affordable enough, that everybody who needed them, got them. So too many people went thru life seriously vision-impaired. Be thankful times have changed.

I’ve sometimes wondered why bad vision didn’t get weeded out of the gene pool a long long time ago.

That’s pretty much been my experience with eye charts.

Had mono-vision LASIK seven years ago. Nice to be able to read again without glasses. My driving glasses adjust the right eye for distance.

I’ve never understood why people think that wearing glasses makes someone look smart. To get glasses, you have to fail a test.

They are making everything ‘smart’ these days. They are making smart glasses now?
