ElDo,
Half your bowling references bounced clear over my head. No wonder someone could mistake that post for a completely off-topic rant.
I think poohbear has a point. Artistic perspective within in a format so constricted as a comic strip being what it is (or isn’t), I wasn’t able to follow the bouncing ball into an adjoining lane myself. Whether a strike there is technically a strike in the Elderpark team’s column, or technically not one, I wouldn’t know.
Corey is clear on one thing, though - the drawings of a talented but fat bowler are totally realistic and very effective. I had to go back and admire them twice. Even the way she manages to tie her shoe nonchalantly if not exactly effortlessly, while maintaining a conversation, is just plain cool.
