Seriously? Why do they ask a poor retired man living in a home to write checks? Surely he’d have no money left after he pays for his own. ;)

No, actually, since it is the IRS it probably means Dusty claimed to have donated $500 to the Old Cowboy’s Home as a donation to a non-profit. He is trying to cheat the IRS.

Someone living in a retirement home probably doesn’t have enough income to owe any taxes. At least those living at Elderpark.My mother used to work at a home where the management took almost every cent of income the residents had.
