As I’ve posted before, some do their best(?) work under pressure.
Mom looks perplexed at Fauna’s response. Fauna is old enough that such a response should no longer “surprise”, unless ‘Mom’ is a creature with an attention span and retention capability that matches her husband.
Some things never change.
Flora, it’s time to put your foot down and insist that Fauna do her homework the night before— or else!
Fauna is approaching the situation logically, not wisely.
