A precursor is when the arrow on your screen is still just a do.

It’s what you do before

you take on clearing snow off the cars and walks,

you start the blower to remove leaves,

you decide to try to get rid of moles,

you call the appliance repairman,

before . . .

They are working from Stump today…!

So a precursor could be a word such as “bull” or “mother?”
