My house spiders and I have an understanding: They stay on the ceiling or out of sight and I don’t squish them. They really are such a boon during the summer when flies and gnats are amok (People afraid of them need to remember that you’re a goddamn giant-god compared to them. They’re terrified of YOU and want to keep their distance.)
Found one in a cupboard while putting dishes away this morning. I moved it to the garage – I cook there in the summer and could use some help with the flies.
