Thx Pab. Deliciously obscure work and artist (esp. since he’s usually known as Palma Vecchio per Wikipedia). No wonder I couldn’t find anything, esp. since I would NEVER have guessed Venus would ever wear so much clothing. What a great era when even the second and third class artists could paint like that.
You’ve just recently found Henry 8.0? I found it a few months ago, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything so hilarious relating to the Tudor era. Brian Blessed is inspired as Henry. Nice to know there are other fans out there.
Thatsmyshoe: I also discovered it a while back, right after “Pope and Glory” was released. But I hadn’t had to drag it out here until this week when I had no storyline a couple of hours before deadline.
TNGirl: “Meet The Royals,” which will collect the first three books plus 20+ pages of previously unpublished material, is available for pre-order now at http://bit.ly/6Vb3Wy - the next completely new book should be coming out in November.
yyyguy: He’s actually hinted that he’ll take the cue from his grandfather Albert and rule as “George VII” since Charles is an unpopular name for a king of England.

Pab, aren’t you going to tell us who the artist was in yesterday’s lead panel? Please, pretty please?

At least they’ve updated their TV set. It almost looks like an HD set. Almost.

For those who haven’t yet seen it, you really should look at “Henry 8.0.” It’s actually rather funny.

A. Lincoln was a contemporary of the monarch, seems like he could’ve made an appearance today…
