Wait a few years, and then the BBC would come under attack again for not drawing an audience because it only broadcasts dull-but-worthy content, justifying the defunding and closure of the BBC entirely. Such is the fantasy of the hard-core loony right, who view the BBC as a vast left-wing conspiracy.
