A brisk walk outside will do as well. I love to bike in front of those sweat shops with big windows showing people grimacing as they pedal on make-believe bikes, especially when the weather is fine. And don’t forget the dog.

Cabalonrye, Dogs don’t like you to ride a bike when you’re out for a walk with them. They want to take things slowly – sniff the trees, chew a few blades of grass, change direction to chase a rabbit, sit down and admire the countryside. They can’t do this if you’re riding hell for leather on your mountain bike!

Rather have a nice Screwdiver on ice with a double shot of vodka.

I rather agree with Helen. Trying to ride a bike with a dog in tow is difficult, if not impossible. Even jogging can be tricky, because just when you get up a good head of steam, the dog wants to stop and smell the flowers – or something of the sort.

A dalmatian loves a good run—walking one is not going to be enough for most of them. They were bred to be carriage dogs, remember.
