When our daughter was little, she would get out the stroller and walk so our walk-loving dog could ride on the days he would occasionally struggle as he got old.

Seems like a lot of comic strips are devoted to dogs. I just wish they would use leashes in these strips. Off leash dogs are a hazard to children, cyclists and wild life. Strips that clearly love dogs should portray behaviours that keep them (and others) safe.
