I’ve generally found that folks don’t stay more than about a half hour at a dog park, though some stay longer. The dogs get bored after a while. Imagine a cocktail party where everyone but you works at the same place, and the only conversations are shop talk. Not quite that bad, but dogs have short attention spans.

My dog is a “lone wolf” type. He hates other dogs so needless to say we don’t visit dog parks.
