If it’s in the summer it can feel even longer.

The length of a minute depends upon which side of the bathroom door you are standing on…

Not always. I’ve known some dogs to just nap while waiting.

(But not in hot weather, unless you can run air conditioning.)

A lot of dogs feel like you are never going to come back. NEVER LEAVE A DOG IN THE CAR IN THE SUMMER

Why can’t people just leave the dog at home, where it’s safe, there’s food and water and a couch to sleep on?

Raeside has it drawn wrong. The dog would have moved over to the driver’s seat.

How long is a dog minute when he’s watching his dinner being prepared?

Give your dog a treat for being patient, at the very leashed.

Dogs should not be left in a car alone.

Let’s face it. It depends on the dog. Mine traveled with me and was content in the car. What bothered me were people who !Called the Police! because it will get HOT in the car. She was a desert dog. House temp in summer 80d. We would sit outside for hours at 100d. Please do not break my windows (open ¼ and hot air rising out the open sunroof) when it is 75d and the car will not get over 80 before I get back. See my Arizona license plate? I know what is unsafe for my dog. (It will be very different for the dogs I have now. Don’t know what I’ll do when it’s time to travel.)
