    Given the shorter fuse and entitlement of Sakura I would’ve expected for him to be reminder about their dinner time, not patient Koko.

    Many years ago, I was on shift and my wife was studying for her Master’s Thesis defense. One of our Rottweilers came in carrying his food dish and dropped it at her feet. She got up and feed him and the other one taking a well deserved break she probably wouldn’t have otherwise.

    I feed my approximately 4 at 4 pm. Except there isn’t a word for approximately in Dog. They line up in front of me at 4 and stay there until I feed them. Sigh….

    the strays our sweet cat lady neighbor feeds show up right after she gets up in the morning and sit with their noses pressed against the front glass until she comes out in her pajamas and feeds them. how the cats know that it’s 5:20 is a total mystery…
