Disney dropped their application for the trademark. (http://tinyurl.com/42ctspz) Apparently, even they had to succumb to negative publicity. It certainly wasn’t due to some suit on the Disney board having an attack of scruples. Apparently, they wanted ot for an action TV series on ABC.
