Is that supposed to be Trudeau? Looks a bit more like Fidel Castro to me, which caused me some initial confusion.
There are lots and lots of Canadians (perhaps fewer in Alberta) who are environmentally aware, who are especially unhappy with tar-sand oil,and who are happy enough to see the demise of Keystone XL. (It’s not as if KXL will make or break society’s addiction to fossil fuels, though—there are lots of other pipelines, and long trains.)

Odd, it’s over half the distance from the oil sands to the West Coast vs the Gulf Coast, why doesn’t pipeline route through B.C.?
