I love the motley crew on the dock. It’s fun to see yesterdays & then them today. So much fun.

For some reason Kool and the gang‘s celebration started playing in my head On the third panel.

Amelia is always complaining, but in the end she’s ready to have fun with the others, expecially with Rose.

Poor Spud, summers without structure must be a nightmare for him. Oh wait, for him every day is a nightmare.

And with the drop of the shoes, summer has officially come to Snug Harbor, Rhode Island.

I know we’re supposed to identify with Wallace, but this just seems so quintessentially American – destroying something useful for momentary “freedom” when you know you’ll need it later – that I can only shake my head.

Wallace knows disco… interesting. Just to rile my daughter once I said " let’s disco down to the restaurant and eat". Oh Dad, don’t say that! Ever!

I thought disco was dead, but these NH kids are resurrecting it? Gah!
