I picked up a set of three Mylar balloons on the road this morning. Two were popped the third kept them just barely afloat. I see them all the time in the woods and swamps.
Please people, find some other way to celebrate that doesn’t use precious helium and cause damage to the environment.
Has Wallace (Or Will Henry) been watching a lot of “Generation Tech” on YouTube lately? The host of the show is always saying that the dolphins need to be watched.

Dolphins will already mess you up if they think they can get away with it.

Interesting fact: Dolphins have relatively large and complex brains that developed over thousands of generations. Presumably, dolphin brains evolved to meet the needs of their environment. Intelligence and highly-involved social interaction became the means of their survival and their brains adapted accordingly. © 2023 Google

Dolphins are actually pretty smart. They stay underwater, and that’s the smartest thing for them!!

I seem to remember a Simpsons episode with that arc.

I can think of at least two things that are wrong with that last sentence :)

I recall a Far Side cartoon where two scientists are trying to decipher dolphin communication. Turns out the dolphins were speaking Spanish.

Dolphins are most definitely NOT peanut brained but some may find a mylar balloon as an attractive meal……

How about a peanut-brained fish with the nuclear arsenal launch codes?

A dolphin is an aquatic mammal not a fish. Its brain is about 3.5 pounds….Amelia needs a fact check. A story arc possibly?

Oh yeah? Peanut brained? Well, smartie, they’re in first place in the AFC East!

Amelia needs to pay a LOT more attention in class.
