Years ago got around 40" and many of us have oil heat. The oil needs to be delivered and the delivery guys were being stuck in the snow. They finally said no path, no oil.
Was talking with someone once who told a story about something similar happening to a dachshund dog a friend had who had been let outside for a moment. Snow proved too deep for its short little legs to reach the ground and got itself stuck partway embedded and unable to move until its owners came and bailed it out.

Wallace needs to either evolve longer legs, or a snow-compliant life vest.

Forecast for Tuesday is light snow (central Alabama). I’ll believe it when I see it.
