There’s an interesting short story called Crumbs in which the son of Hansel meets the daughter of the Wicked Witch. Seems the daughter has established a casino in the Dark Woods on the former site of her Mother’s cottage. Said casino is attracting wealthy patrons, whose income is no longer enriching the King. Hansel’s son (now a knight) is sent to investigate. Good story.
