This is how government stimulus works. They give you back some of the taxes you paid. Then tax you more the next year and spend twice that the following year. The dollar devalues and now you can’t buy food. Then as you starve, the government calls it the new health program.

Is this what happens when people keep telling photographers, “you should have used landscape instead of portrait setting”?

Yeah, but it’s a government program. Peek behind the façade and all you’ll see an outhouse and a garden gnome.
