If that miniskirt were any shorter, she’d be feeling the Dark Side very quickly.

Redskirt is a big improvement over redshirt…

I like to tell her the part about “where no man has gone before.”

Some of the comments remind me of when I got a Kindle and re-read some early Sci-Fi by E. E. Smith – it was a different world back then.

That skirt is proof that the original Star Trek is the best version.

If that drives you crazy you definitely shouldn’t watch Dark Angel.

I did an experiment and based on my small sample discovered that Star Wars fans have a much better sense of humor than Star Trek fans.

I took my granddaughter to Disneyland for Halloween. This is important because it is the one time of the year adults are allowed to wear costumes.

I would greet groups of adults dressed in Star Wars costumes with “Live long and prosper” and groups of Star Trek with “May the force be with you”. I got laughs from the Star Wars groups but blank stares from the Star Trek groups.

I’m totally a geek but I might do that just to get the reaction from those two. They take things much too seriously.

I would think that those two would be Girl Genius fans.

Though I suppose if they had, Rey would have been named Agatha.

Oh now that is just GREAT! I’d love to wear it, an go, to the various Cons and see the reactions.

You know what was the best Dalek ever? Nomad from Star Trek! The Changeling a season two episode of the American science fiction television series, Star Trek, first broadcast on September 29, 1967, and repeated May 17, 1968. It is episode #32, production #37 and was written by John Meredyth Lucas, and directed by Marc Daniels (who was pictured on-screen as “Dr. Jackson Roykirk”1).

The Daleks were expys for Nazis and Nomad is the ultimate negative eugenics purveyor wiping out the life of whole planets in its need to “sterilize imperfections” as it sees it. An Nomad has the power of Tan Ruu, to make it so. One of the first things done when counties started to implement eugenics is sterilization policies. In the USA it lasted till the 1970’s following that pseudo-science. It fit in so well with their racism and prejudices it became quiet popular in the USA, Britain and Germany.

Two types of Eugenics. Positive is that you only help those with the characteristics you approve of. Negative is that you go after those who have what is considered “bad traits” and use force to stop them from reproducing and in some cases killing them.

In 1883, Galton named his new science eugenics, which he derived from the Greek word eugenics, meaning “good in birth” or “noble in heredity.”
