When I was in the army and stationed overseas, I knew a lab tech who helped the pathologists doing the autopsies in our base hospital. He was always bragging about working in a coroner office.
I remember an office design where a shared cubicle wall had an opening with lazy susan so two programmers could share one keyboard and monitor (mice were not yet popular) by swiveling the hardware to face one programmer or the other. One of us was expected to design code while the other entered his/her code. Then we would switch roles. Terrible idea, still I’m not a fan of coding on an cell phone, but I understand you can.
I had a friend who worked at IBM. His division moved int a new building and he had an office with a window and wall to wall carpeting. A few weeks later a crew came into his office and moved all furniture away from the wall and proceeded to cut away 12 inches all around of his carpet and replace the furniture. When he asked why, he was told, “You are allowed an office with a window but only an area rug.” IBM, You BM. we all BM for IBM"

I actually had an office under a stairway once. It was before the Harry Potter phenomenon, but still.

I’m surprised she didn’t make them share one chair.

I wouldn’t call that a corner office.

As long as Ed doesn’t snore, should be fine.
