Looks more like a Cartoonist’s block!

(I kid, of course! Good one, John!)

Just start knitting and see what develops.

Knitting is just knot for me…

As a knitter, I can attest that she’s really just mesmerized by how much that yarn ball with needles sticking out of it looks like a cartoon alien. Or, she might be thinking, “who picked this color? And what the heck am I supposed to do with the amount they gave me?”

My first thought was rabbit ears on an old TV.

That’s been me for most of this year. Sigh.

Whenever I ave knitter’s block or beader’s block or some such…

including jewelry repair block, ironing block, drawing block, and several others…

I just put the project in a bag and walk away, clearing my head so I can come back to it later.

Some day I’ll have to clear out that closet.

OK, I mean, that room.

Hmm, this is not a problem for me . . .

After you have knit everyone a scarf, hat, mittens, socks, sweater, afghan, baby blanket, baby clothes, dog sweater, cat bed, tree skirt, flower pot holder, coasters, towel topper and slippers, you have to sit and wonder what you can knit next. (Did I forget anything?) Such a dilemma!

For writing you just have to bull through it keep writing even if you don’t use it can help the impasse.
