The boy’s father in the first few panels could also be trim, fit, wearing a suit, and drinking a glass of wine. Not sure about the way this depicts a stereotypical bigot. But the message is good.

Hold on a minute. Is the alien suppose to be Asian? In the last panel his eyes look a bit like it, and in the 9th panel, the Asian dude seems not sure on the hate speech.

This is one of the harder lessons. Good job portraying it, Gavin. It’s good to remember, as bfrg1513 points out, that you don’t have to appear a lout to teach hate. Always important to observe where it’s coming from. Like several political candidates we could mention. May the Presence send them light.

Quoting Robert Kennedy about civil rights? That’s a laugh.

Robert Kennedy, who, as attorney general, stripped civil right protesters of their protection by US marshals and allowed the Alabama national guard to take over – with predictable results.

Robert Kennedy, again as attorney general, who refused to enforce the interstate commerce act to protect Negroes using the bus for interstate travel. He also refused to investigate violence done to civil rights workers on three separate occasions (Birmingham, Al; Albany, GA; Jackson, Ms), sending MLK “bedbug” letters urging the “Negro citizens” to better coordinate and cooperate with the various states where they were getting their heads busted.

Then in October, 1963, Robert Kennedy authorized the wiretapping of MLK’s home and offices to check on MLK’s relationship with the avowed communist, Stanley Levison.

A real social justice warrior, eh?

It’s about not hating the Syrian refugees. That is true…. there are MANY who are simply running for their lives and looking for place to live free. Unfortunately…..there are some among them who ARE terrorists.

How do you separate the two groups and still show no prejudice? And how do you guarantee they won’t become radical in the future????

Easy to make? Our governments are making a killing (double meaning acknowledged) by mass producing explosives and other weapons and selling them at a discount..Meanwhile, there seem to be more and more Americans reacting to the behavior and society described in the first part of the quote by saying, “Yeah! That’s right! We want more of that!”
