Perfect vision? I would think that with Ziggy’s big nose the size of a grapefruit in front of his face, he might have difficulty seeing the lines on the lowest portion of the eye-chart.

The old Nussbaum mistake!

Mrs. Nussbaum was my piano teacher ! I’d be awfully surprised if she is still alive.

This got me wondering what Ziggy would look like with glasses. So I drew a pair him using today’s comic. Ziggy’s looking up at the doctor, so I had to put them on the back of his head. He looked strange. Ziggy would have looked better if he had eyes in the back of his head.

I never knew Ziggy had a last name. So it’s Nussbaum huh?

I don’t think I saw the “Mr. Magoo” live action movie but I would hope he got really nerdy looking glasses which corrected his vision and then just didn’t want to wear them.
