Looks like the doctor is running a successful therapy class. I don’t think there is a better way to cure you of your self-esteem habit than to invite you in the door with an “Oh it is JUST YOU!” greeting.

Must be a self-help group.

Ziggy, if you stay you will need to stand. We don’t have enough chairs for you. You can stand in the corner over there so you don’t block our windows on this side of the room.

This is why I gave up going to therapy. I found out how funny my problem was to the doctor I was relaying my situation with. It turned out that the assistant to the doctor blabbed my problem around the office. Big laughs for them and no patient for them ever.
