Ol Yeller is a good, tough life story for rural kids dealing with life-and-death of livestock but pretty darn hard on an urban child raised on cartoons.
I could watch every film by Quentin Tarantino and any other film where people die in the most horrible ways no problem, but I CANNOT watch a film where a dog dies or is injured in any way.
