On the covid story line a little late though

My husband was exposed, and both rapid tests came back negative, but the PCR came back positive.

No major change in Adam’s lifestyle.

Now, if it was Laura who was sick, she would be bombarded by demands from her worthless “family” (except Baby Nick and Gumbo)!!

Maybe because you have a deadline to run after?

What smart is not to have COVID in the first place!!

he should have said, “So I’m supposed to just LIE here…” I get so tired of people not knowing how to use the verbs “to lie” and “to lay.” Conjugate the verbs “LIE” and “LAY”:lie, lay, lain—today I lie down, yesterday I lay down, I have lain down.lay, laid, laid—today I lay this box on the floor, yesterday I laid this box on the floor, I have laid this box many times.

It’s no fun when you have to.

“lie here”! Adam’s a writer; he would know this!

If he had his computer and a lap desk, he could be as productive as ever.

The story lines are getting darker and darker here. We need to escape from the world’s problems, not be reminded of them. This strip needs to get back to the “gag a day” format and again include all of the cast members, including Nick and Gumbo. A 6 year old with an adult vocabulary is getting tiresome.

I read that the first time as rabid test. And thinking … what the heck happened and where was I yesterday?? LOL

It’s one thing when you get to do something (or not do something) when it’s a choice, but it’s different when you don’t get much of a choice.
