soooo … Gumbo is 16 dog years old already? Or that’s not important in a dream? Just asking (for my future dreams…)

But really though, it’s fun seeing Nick and Gumbo for a bit.

I think the instructor who said Gumbo passed the driving test went easy on him. I mean, yeah, on one level I know it’s a handicap not to have an opposable thumb, but if that interferes with driving ability I want to keep the roads safe.

I remember riding in the back, up on the ledge looking out the back window at the stars going home from the drive-in.

You heard him (read him), Comment Section! Have an asinine fit about the laws violated in this clearly-marked dream sequence within a clearly-marked comic strip!

Rob is giving us “Fan Service” for all the complaints that we don’t see Nick/Gumbo enough.

And, sure enough, there are now complaints that we’re seeing too much of Nick/Gumbo… ☺

Are Gumbo’s legs long enough to reach the pedals?

Gumbo will have to make a pit stop at every fire hydrant.

Somebody might complain about a dog driving, too.

I’d be more worried about a baby going to a casino than anything else in this situation.

OK, dream sequence confirmed, now the question is whose. It can’t be Adams’, it’s too creative.

If they complain about a child in the front seat, they should first mention the dog driving

We are all just glad he’s not driving. :)

Having the dog driving is the perfect analogy for the “self-driving” car. It really wants to go where you want to go but it’s easily distracted and you have to watch it every second .

I’m so new at reading this comic strip, I didn’t even know there was a Nick and Gumbo.
