Stan Lee was really good at (almost) always getting his archaic (Shakespearean / King James Bible) syntax correct while also keeping the clauses using that syntax short and simple, as befits speeches that had to fit in word balloons. Other writers tended either to bungle the syntax or to resort to archaic sentence constructions too elaborate for economical comic book dialogue.
