Here’s the thing, there are a ton of Christmas songs out there that most people don’t know because they never get played. And because the same few that everyone knows get played all the time, people get sick of them.

Retail spaces really need to expand their Christmas playlists to include a lot more than just the handful of songs that everyone knows, because then people will get to know more of them and the variety will help keep people from getting tired of them so quickly.

If I were Penny, I’d suggest to that lady to exchange roles for one day

And they’ve been listening to that particular genre for over a month. I feel sorry for retail workers.

I just sad they wait until after Halloween to play Christmas songs. They should start sooner. /s.

I look forward to my local WalMart playing “2000 Miles” by The Pretenders every year.

Still music is better than listening to Monster Mash and Thriller repeatedly .

In the doc’s office I used to work at, the Holiday Musak was THE worst.

I can ignore the music tracks, it’s the overpowering stench of the “holiday scents” that some places flood their stores with. I don’t miss B,B,&B for that!

Imagine if online stores automatically played Christmas music on their websites!

I worked retail for 7 years, in a western store. You think Christmas music is bad? Try Country and Western Christmas music. On an 8-track tape. All 4 of them. Ad Nauseum…

I sometimes play Christmas music after Christmas. We played a lot Christmas music in many of my mom’s final weeks because it was that time of the year and most songs were upbeat and comforting. Playing Christmas now reminds me of her.

On the other hand, I can relate to the agony of repetitive music. I worked a summer at an amusement park that played the same set of music many times a day, every day, all summer!
