I’ll have to admit I had to look up “Dick Dale” and listen to a sample of his guitar playing before I understood this one. As soon as I got a few bars of him and his fender amp I’m like “Oh? Okay – surfin’music.”!

Dick was playing right handed guitars upside down before Jimi Hendrix. He didn’t just play surfin’ music- he is considered the inventor of the genre.

I had to go look up this one, too. I’ve said before, reading GoComics is educational!
