A life with lions could be a good thing

that was quite unexpected – I was expecting 2 donkeys

My wife and I would love a pair of lions, until they ate us

Wild animals are awesome in the wild, not so good as pets

The rut (routine) you are in can be satisfyingly predictable. Not all eventful surprises are good.

♪ one of these days she wants to sail away, maybe sail into eternity, some kind of ecstasy gonna set her free, and she’s wonderin’ where the lions are, wonderin’ where the lions are…

How else will Agnes pursue her dream of being a lion tamer if she doesn’t have a couple of lions?

Why two lions? Is she starting a breeding program?

I feel so bad for Grandma. I wonder what her dreams were for her life and how things went so wrong.

Choices.. the choices we make when young can put us in a good spot later.. or not… and sometimes, luck. It was “luck” that made my mother see an add in a local weekly paper that had been used as stuffing in a package she ordered; "join the navy, visit our recruiter on ?? June 63 "

Most little girls aim for a pony, but not our Agnes.

Agnes lets her see it could somehow be worse.

Who does she think she is? The Bashaw of Tangier?

Grandma prefers to read from her chair. Agnes likes to read between the lions.

Didn’t Grandma used to travel with a rock band in the sixties? (I seem to remember a storyline like that.)

Do my ten tiny tigers count? They cause as much trouble as a couple of lions, though I don’t think they’d eat me.

Wonder what Agnes’ grandma’s life was like. Maybe a bit like Agnes’ life.
