Poofy hats were very successful. That’s using their heads.

Why does Trout wear that baseball cap?? She’s no more a ball player than Agnes is a baker!

I would have been in tears laughing so hard if Jerry Seinfeld had worn a poofy hat with his poofy pirate shirt !!

Reminiscent of those old elephant jokes back in the day, such as, “How does an elephant hide in a strawberry patch?” “I don’t know – how?” “He paints his toenails red.” “I’ve never seen an elephant in a strawberry patch.” “Well, there you go. It works, doesn’t it?”

Toque me a minute to get the joke.

It would make my day to see highway patrolman dressed like a nun wearing a poofy hat.

I’ve always wondered about that.

Chefs keep their thoughts to themselves – in their hats.

A few have already indirectly referenced this, but here it is for real – the chef’s poofy hat is called a “toque blanche”, which is French for (wait for it) “white hat”! ta-da.

Most refer to it as “toque” which simply means “hat” and is sorta correct, but it’s REALLY a “toque blanche” for accuracy…

I thought those chefs’ hats are that way from a time when people wore their hair longer. The hat was a way to keep hair out of the cooking!
