I’m sorry I can’t stay in on that day! Due to the fact that I am very Heat tolerant. Here in Georgia I often work outside to warm up from my own air conditioning. It does not take much for me to get cold. I Pretty much have a hoodie or a blanket around me all the time especially when the AC is on.
I’m a heat lover. Although temps over 100 can be uncomfortable, I prefer that to below freezing any day!! I’m loving this summer and dreading next winter.
Up to a point I prefer cool/cold weather. You can’t always take OFF enough clothes to get comfortable in hot weather, but usually can put ON enough in cold weather to at least make it tolerable.
I just found out it suppose to reach 96 degrees on moving day, the 17th. Good thing I hired movers and it’s only a few doors away in my complex…we are lucky to have air conditioned apartments here, so I plan on laying low and just let them do their thing. Not sure what to do with the cats though. Any suggestions?
I love winter too. I’d rather be cold than hot. If you’re cold, you can just put on more cozy layers! There’s only so much you can take off in the heat before you get arrested…

I have been hot, and I have been cold.
Hot is better by every metric, even at 42°.

Each to their own! I can’t stand such extremes personally.

You can add clothes to keep heat from escaping. But once you get down to skin, you can’t take more off, to draw away the heat.

AC, greatest invention EVER. The older I get the less I can tolerate the heat, which makes it miserable in my neck of the woods.

I hate the cold. I would much rather be out in 100 degrees than 10 degrees.

Many years ago we took the children to Canada, just north of Niagara Falls. It was 111 degrees in the shade.

I remember in 1976, at Minot AFB it went from 90+ to below freezing over the Labor Day weekend.
