Don’t you hate that – the realization that no matter what, expulsion IS going to happen. I hate regurgitation. I’m a foodaholic but I’ll never be bulimic…
So sorry! Having stomach issues is no fun. I have been having those issues for years and was finally (after about 10 years) diagnosed with gastroporesis. Really have to watch the quantity of what I eat rather than what I eat. My diabetes is the same, I can pretty much eat anything I want to just not very much of it.

1) Whenever it’s imminent, don’t fight it. It helps to have a bucket/bowl nearby.
2) Peppermint oil applied to forehead, neck, nose and tummy plus a hot water bottle help a lot.
3) Drink hot water if you still have to barf. The warmth from inside still helps.

Welp, today is Shrove Tuesday in your mythology, so one more day of giving those up should not make a difference.

Sympathies. I traveled Amtrak way back in the day to visit my new girlfriend and unfortunately ate a turkey sandwich on the train. Same results.

I still remember, with horror, the case of food poisoning I got in 1998. It was THAT bad.

Oooh! Yuck! I feel ya. Recently I’ve needed to watch my food intake, no more than 6 grams of fat per day blah blah. No fun! (No cheesecake)
