@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , with the right motivation our HERO Mr Andrew Capp can turn up a good spurt of speed and I think he can get away because the guys chasing him will end up fighting between themselves for getting Andy first :o) my avatar is again a picture of my birth sign Leo roaring his head off because he’s happy , like I am today :o) how was your day? like us some people can get by with a couple of hours daily with no ill effect , our Finally Friday should be busy but calm I hope ,keep safe and thanks for caring pal
Today’s strip reminds me of a Shel Silverstein poem: “Why does our track team run so fast and jump with zest and zeal? We owe it all to our great coach and our wonderful practice field.” The artwork accompanying the poem depicts an angry lion (wearing a shirt labeled “coach”) chasing the runners across a boobytrapped landscape.

Is this how Andy works off all those excess beer calories? I have noticed that for all the time he spends in the Pub, he doesn’t have a “beer belly”.

This reminds me of a recurring feature on the Benny Hill Show with the memorable saxophone tune playing.

I think even a guy on crutches would suddenly have the ability to run like that if he was being chased by people he owed money to.

@Afficionado
My day was fine but I’ve come off Facebook for a while as I’m getting sick of everyone on there. My account is totally deactivated.
I recently got Twitter and I’m staying off that too but haven’t deactivated it. I just won’t log in.
So my only “social media” is GoComics right now.
Enjoy your favourite nosh, pal. See you Monday. Love to Bella!

Why not just wait until he has a snoot full at the pig@whistle or ball@chain or fish him out of the canal?

You ought to see him go when Flo is after him! He puts Roger Bannister to shame.
