I have always maintained that, while an optimist does, indeed, see the glass as half full, and a pessimist sees it as half empty, a realist knows that either way, someone’s gonna have to wash the damn glass……..
a great one today. I feel just like the amount of sunshine this time of year… less and less. And when daylight savings ends in a few weeks ..really sad.
That’s an interesting question. Obviously, our lives get longer every day we live, but maybe the remaining days do not always dwindle. I have often marveled – since I was a teen in high school – how many people live as long as they intend to, then they slip away. John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Monroe all died of natural causes on July 4.

If you’re filling the glass, it’s half full. If you’re drinking from the glass, it’s half empty.
