I’ve had dates where the main thing I remember is the movie.

I never understood the desire to become a Facebook friend with someone you barely new 20-30 years ago. “Hey, let’s see what’s going on with my cousin’s ex-girlfriend’s hairdresser’s manicurist’s gynecologist. Oh, she’s planning a Netflix & Chill evening with her husband. That sounds lovely.”

Now Arlo is curious. And what is the good stuff – can she repeat it here?

I had 2 dates with a guy when I was just 18-6 weeks apart. I married him!

I don’t think I’d remember any guys I dated twice in high school. I can’t say for sure ~ I didn’t find boys interesting then.

But she remembers him. Hmm. Is Janis actually hiding something? Given her track record…

Never dated in high school, because every girl there was friends with at least one of my sisters.

Facebook the narcissist best friend besides themselves. I think it’s a waist of time. My philosophy: If I wanted to know what your doing I will ask you. If I cared about it I will let you know. Most people are actually true friends with about 5 Facebook friends the rest are people who come and go throughout their lives. But they remain Facebook friends just so they can brag on themselves to those who have left and to make the others jealous. Such a waist of time.

Facebook is a tool. You get out of it what you put into it. I use Facebook to keep in touch with family and close friends that I would otherwise not be able to communicate with on a regular basis. I don’t accept random requests to be “Facebook friends” from just anyone, only people I already have a connection with through some other venue. I probably spend less time there than any of the people in my friends list too.

Went to the movies .yadda yadda yadda he took me home…

Isn’t this the start of the emotional and maybe a physical affair story arc?
